<br /> and, providing gor the right to file a remonstrance against tne sale thereof aigned by legal
<br /> electors of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, equal in number to thirty per cent (30�) of the
<br /> electors of said City, vot3,ng at the Iast� regular municipal election held in said City.

<br /> public auction to tr,e high est bidder and H. W. Yockey of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, bid
<br /> ths sum of One Thousand Four Hundred (�1,400.00) Dollars therefore, said amount being the highes'C

<br /> TH�tEFOR�' BE IT ORDA7NED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPdD ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. The sale of the real e�ta'te described as '�he West one-half (1/2) of Lot Four (4) ,
<br /> Vantines � Subdivision of the Northwest Quarter (NW�) of Section Twenty-two (22_) , Township Eleven
<br /> (11) , North Range Nine (9) , West of 'the� 6th P. M., Hall County, Nebraska, to H. W. Yockey of said
<br /> City of Grand Island, be and the same is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed. _
<br /> SECTION 2. The ma,nner and terms of said sale of such real estate are as follows: The said
<br /> H. W. Yackey, the bidder, has agreed to pay tYie gum of One Thousand Four Hundred (�1,400.00) Do1-
<br /> lars for the within de5cribed real estate and has paid the aum oP Two Hundred Ei�hty (�2�0.00)
<br /> Dollars as a down payment thereon and the balance of One Thousand One Hundred Twenty ( 1,120:.0�)
<br /> Dollars will be paid upon delivery of a Quit Claim Deed by the City to said purchaser. The Ci'�y
<br /> of Grand Island shall not be re�uired to furnish an Abstract of Title.
<br /> SECTION 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereof shall be published
<br /> for three consecutive weeks in the Grand Island Daily Tndependent, a newspaper published in and of
<br /> general circulation in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, immediately after the passage and pub-
<br /> lication of thia ordinance; and the City Clerk is h�ereby directed and instructed to prepare and
<br /> publish said notice.
<br /> SECTION 4. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island, Nebra�ka,
<br /> to file a remonstrance against the sal.e of the within described real e�tate; and if a remons'�rance
<br /> against the sale signed by le�al electors of said Cit;� equal in number to thirty per cent (30�) at'
<br /> the eleators of the City of Grand Island, vo�ing at the last rPgular election held in said City be
<br /> filed *.,rith the P�Iayor and Ci'�y Council within thirty days after the passage and publicatian of this
<br /> ordinance, such property shall not then, nor within one year thereafter be so1d.
<br /> SECTION 5. The sale of said real estate is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed; and if
<br /> no remonstrance be filed agains� such sale, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute, and de-
<br /> liver to H. ��1. Yockey, a Quit Clalm Deed for said property and the execution of said deed is hereby
<br /> authorized without Purther action on behalf of the City Counc3.1.
<br /> SECTION 6. This ord3nance sha11 be in �orce and take effect from and a�ter its pASSage,
<br /> apprvval and publication as provided by law.
