<br /> An Ordnance authorizin� and directing the sale of certain real estate belonging �o the City of
<br /> Grand Island, Nebraska; -providing the rnanner in t�rhich the same shall be sold and the terms of said
<br /> sale; providing for the giving of notice of the sale of said real estate and the terms thereof; and,
<br /> providing for the right to f�.le a remonstrance against the sale thereof si ned by legal electors of
<br /> the Gity of Grand Island, Nebraska, equal in number to thirty per cent (30�� of the electors of said
<br /> �ity, voting �,t the last regular municipal election held in said City.
<br /> � BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNC2L OF THE CITY OF GRA':�1D ISLATID, NEHRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. The sale and conveyance of real estate hereinafter described in hereby directed and
<br /> authorized to John Edward Bo tteicher and Myrtle Leona Botteicher, husband and wif e of the City oP
<br /> Grand Island, Nebraska. �
<br /> The property directed and authorized to be conveyed is described as �'ollows:
<br /> Lots Two and Four (2 and �F) , Block Eight (�) , 5carff' s Addition to the City of Grand Island,
<br /> Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> SECTION 2. The manner and terms of said sale of such real estate are as follows: The purchasers,
<br /> John Edward Botteicher and Myrtle Leona Botteicher, husba.nd and wife, agree to pay Six Hundred
<br /> Dollars (�600.00) for the within described real estate and have paid to the City Cler�C of the City
<br /> of Grand Island the sum o�' Thir�ty Dollars (�$30.00) as a down bayment therefor, and the balance of
<br /> Five Hundred and Seventy ( �570.00) Dollars will be paid in full upon the execution and delivery of
<br /> a Qu3.t C1aim Deed by '�Yie City to �he purchasers. The City shall not be required to furnish an
<br /> Abstract of T3.tle.
<br /> SECTION 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereoP shall be published for
<br /> three consecutive weeks in The Grand Island Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of
<br /> general circula�ion in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, immedia'�ely aPter the passage and pub-
<br /> lication of this Ordnance; and the City Clerk is hereby directed and instructed to prepare and pub-
<br /> lish said notice.
<br /> SECTION �+. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, to
<br /> � file a remonstrance against the sale of the within described real estate; and if a remonstrance
<br /> against such sale signed by legal electors of said City equal in number to thirty per cent (30�)
<br /> of the electors of "the City of Grand Island, votin� at the last regular election held in said City
<br /> be Piled with �he Mayor and City Council within th�,rty �30) days after the passage and publication
<br /> of 'this ordin�nce, such property shall not then, not within one year thereafter be sold.

<br /> sECTION �j. The s�,le of said real estate 3.s hereby directed, authorized and confirmed, and if no
<br /> remonstrance be filed against such sale, the rdayor and City Clerk shall make, execute, and deliver
<br /> to John Edward Botteicher and P�4yrtle Leona Botteicher, husband and wife a Quit Claim Deed Por said
<br /> property and the execution of said Deed is hereby authorized with�ut further action on beha� of the
<br /> City Council.
<br /> SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in forEe and take effect from and after its passage, approval
<br /> and publication as pravided, by law.
