<br /> said sale; providing f or the giving of no'tice of the sale of said real estate and the terma there-
<br /> of; and, providing for the right to file a remonstrance against the sale thereof si ned by legal
<br /> i electors of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, equal in number to thirty per cent �30�) oP the

<br /> WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of Apr�.l, 19��, the South one halP ( Sl/2) of Lot S3x (6) , Lot

<br /> Addition, belonging to the said City of Grand Island, Nebraska, were, purauant to the action of
<br /> ' the Mayor and City Council, offered for sale at a public auction to the highest bidder, and E. W.
<br /> Linneman of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, bid the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred (�1,200.0�0)
<br /> Dollars therefore, said amount being the highest bid offered.
<br /> THEREFORE HE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. The �ale of the real estate described as the South one-half (S 1/2) of i,ot Six (6) ,
<br /> Lot seven (7), a.nd. the North one-half (N 1/2) of Lot Eight (�) , H1ock Two (2) , lst Artistic Homes
<br /> Addition to the City of (�rand Ielahd, Hall County, Nebraska, to E. W. Linneman of said City oP
<br /> Grand Island, be and the same is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed.
<br /> SECTION 2. The manner and terms of said sale oP such real estate Are as follows; The said �
<br /> E. W. Linneman, the bidder, has a�reed to pay the sum of �ne Thousand Two Hun�ired (�1,200.00)
<br /> Dollars for the within described real estate and has paid the sum ot Two Hundred Forty (�240.00)
<br /> Dollars as a �down p�,yment thereon and the balanc� of Nine Hundred Sixty (�960.00) Dollars will be
<br /> paid upon delivery of a Quit Cla.im Deed by the City to said purchaser. The City of Grand Island
<br /> shall not be required to furnish an Abstract of Title.
<br /> 3ECTION 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereof shall be published
<br /> for three consecutive weeks in the 4rand Island Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of
<br /> general circulation in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, iminediately �,fter the pa,ssage and pub-
<br /> lication of this ordinance; and the City Clerk is hereby directed and instructed to prepare and
<br /> publish said notice. p ;
