<br /> SECTION 1. The sale and conveyance of the real est�,te hereinafter described is hereby
<br /> directed and authori�ed to John E. La.mmert and Alice A. Lammert, husband and wife, oP the City
<br /> of Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br /> The property directed and authorized to be conveyed is described as follows:
<br /> Lot One (1) , Block Thirty-seven (37) Russell ��TheelPr' s Addition t� the City of Grand Island, Hall
<br /> County, Nebraska.
<br /> SECOI�D 2. The manner and terms o� said sale of such rea,l estate are as follows : The purchasers,
<br /> John E. Lammert and Aliee A. Lammert, husband and wife, agree to pay Three Hundred Twenty-five
<br /> ( �325.00) Dollars Por the within described real estate and have paid to the City Clerk of the
<br /> City of Grand Island the sum of Twenty-five ( �25.00) Doll�.rs as a down payment therefare, and th�
<br /> b�,lance of Three Hunc?red ( �300.00) Dollars, will be �aid in full upon thA execution and delivery oP
<br /> a Quit Claim Deed by the City to the ?�urchasers. The City shal.l not be required to furnish an
<br /> Abst�act of Title.
<br /> SEC�'�ON 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereof shall be published
<br /> Por three consecutive weeks in t'ne Grand Island Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of
<br /> general circulation in the City of Grand Island, Nebr�,ska, immediately aPter the r�assage and
<br /> publicati�n of this Ordinance; and the City Clerk is hereby direeted and instructed to nrepare and
<br /> publi5h said notice. `
<br /> SECTION �. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island, Ngbraska,
<br /> to file a remonstrance a.gainst the sale of the within described real estate; and if a
<br /> remonstrance against such sale signed by legal electors� of said City equal in nwnber to thirty
<br /> per cent ( 30�} of the electors oP the City of Grand Island, voting a.t the last regular election
<br /> held in said City be filed with the Mayor and City Council within thirty (30) days after the pa�sage
<br /> and �ublication of this ordinance, such property shall not then, nor within one year thereater be
<br /> sold.
<br /> SECTION 5. The sale of sa3d real estate is hereby directed, authorized and conPirmed; and if
<br /> no remonstra.nce be filed against such s�.le, the Mayor and City Clerk sha1Z make, execute and
<br /> deliver to John E. La.mmert and Alice A. Lammert, hu5band and wife, a Quit Claim Deed for said
<br /> propertr and the execution of said Deed is hereby �authorized without Purther action on behalf of
<br /> the City Council.
<br /> SECTION 6. This ordinanee ahall be in force and take effect from and after its passage,
<br /> approval �.nd nublic�,tion as provided b,y l:aw.
