<br /> three c�nsecutive Taeeks in tre Grand Island D�,ily Independent, � newspaner published in and of
<br /> general circu��tion in the City oP Gra.nd Islan�., r�tebraska, immediately �,fter the nass�ge and nub-
<br /> lication of this Ordinance; and the City Clerk is hereby c�irected and instructed to nrepa.re and
<br /> bublish s�,id notice.
<br /> SECTION 4. Authority is hereby �ranted to the electors of tr-e City of Gra.nd Island, Nebraska,
<br /> to file a remonstrance a�ainst the sale of the within described real estate; and if a remonstrance
<br /> against such sale signed by legal electors of sa.id City equ�.l in number to thirty ner cent ( 30�)
<br /> of the e�ectors of the City of Grand Island, votin� a.t the last regular electi�n held in said City
<br /> be filed with the Mayor and City Council within thirty ( 30) days after the t�ass�ge and x�ublication
<br /> of this ordinance, such broperty shall not then, nor within one year thereafter be sold.
<br /> SECTiON 5. The sale of said real estate is hereby directed, authoriZed and confirmed; and if
<br /> no remonstr�,nce be filed against sucn sale, the Tlayor- and City Clerk shall make, exec�zted and deliver
<br /> to E. B. Lockett, a Quit Claim Deed for said nroperty and tne execution of said Deed is hereby
<br /> authorized without further �.ction on behalf of the City Council.
<br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in force a,nd t�,ke effect from and a,fter its nassage,
<br /> approva.l and nublic�.tion as nrovided by law.
