<br />34.SKV & 69KV TRANSMISSION LINE RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT
<br />The Nature Conservancy, a non-profit
<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the undersigned corporation of the District of Columbia for and in
<br />consideration of the amount set forth in this easement, does hereby grant unto Southern Public Power District; a
<br />public carporation whose post office address is Grand Island, Nebraska, and to its successors or assigns; the
<br />right to enter upon the lands of the undersigned, situated in the County of Hall , State of Nebraska and
<br />more particularly described as follows:
<br />Lot one (1) in Section Twenty-eighY (28), Township Nine (9) North, Range Twelve (12) West of the 6�` P.M.
<br />Above party hereby grants permission as follows: To install a new 69KV transmission line along the east side
<br />of said property, including installation of two (2) poles and five (5) anchors, as shown on the attached E�ibit
<br />«
<br />And to place, construct, operate, repair, maintain, relocate and replace thereon an electric transmission
<br />line, and to cut and trim trees and shrubbery to the extent necessary to keep them clear of said electric line, and
<br />to cut down from time to time all dead, weak, leaning or dangerous trees that are tall enough to strike the wires
<br />in falling. No seeding or planting of the disturbed area by the Grantee is permitted.
<br />In granting this easement it is understood that at pole locations, only a single pole will be used, and that
<br />the location of the poles will be such as to form the least possible interference to farm operations, so long as it
<br />does not materially increase the cost of construction. Poles and/or anchors are not to be installed more than two
<br />feet inside property line, except as shown on attached E�ibit "A".
<br />Compensation for this easement shall be in the amount of $25.00 per pole and/or anchor placed on the
<br />lands of the undersigned. Payment will be made after construction plans are final and number of poles and/or
<br />anchors can be determined. Grantor will be reimbursed for all crop damage caused during construction of the
<br />line.
<br />The undersigned covenants that The Nature Conservancy is the owner of the above described lands.
<br />It is further understood that, whenever necessary, words used in this instrument in the singular shall be
<br />construed to read in the plural and that words used in the masculine gender shall be construed to read in the
<br />feminine.
