METTENBRINK and KIM METTENBRINK, Husband and Wife; LYNN WILLIAM METTENBRINK, a single person; CAROL A. HEIDE formerly CAROL A. METTENBRINK, a single person; and FOUR-M LTD, a Limited Partnership, all hereinafter collectively referred to as Grantors, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty One Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($21,600.00), lawful of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by the Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presence grant, bargain, sell, and convey and confirm unto the City of Wood River, Nebraska, a Municipal Corporation, Grantee, its successors and assigns a right-of-way over and across that certain strip of land as more particu- larly described on the attached Survey described as Detail "B" and Detail "C" incorporated herein by reference in Hall County, Nebraska, for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating thereon and there over, electric power, transmission and telephone lines, and for use for said purposes, and for the purpose of doing any and all matters and things that are legal and lawful that may be necessary or desirable in connection with the erection, maintenance, construction or operation of said lines. Grantee warrants that after the initial construction and installation of the transmission line pursuant to plan disclosed to Grantor, Grantee will not erect or install any additional improvements in the easement area. The Grantee by accepting and recording of public record the above and foregoing ease- ment does hereby agree with the Grantors, their successors and assigns that any damage caused to planted or growing crops within the easement area by the Grantee its agents or contractors will be reimbursed to Grantors of their successors and assigns for the fair and reasonable value of said damage or destroyed crop.
