<br />ELECTRIC EASEMENT
<br />Robert L. Mettenbrink Jr. and Dianna K. Mettenbrink, husband and wife, herein
<br />called Grantor, in consideration of the sum of Twenty Three Thousand Nine Hundred
<br />Forty Nine. and 90/100 Dollars ,.,($23,949.90), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
<br />hereby grants and conveys unto the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a
<br />municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, herein called Grantee, a permanent
<br />and perpetual easement and right-of-way to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair,
<br />replace, relocate, extend, remove, and operate thereon, overhead and underground
<br />electric lines, static/ground conductors, communication lines, cables, conduits, pipes,
<br />poles, towers, wires, fibers, anchors, foundations, footings, terminals, transformers,
<br />surface markers, and other appurtenances connected therewith, in, upon, above, along,
<br />over, across, underneath, and through a part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter
<br />(W'/zNE'/) of Section Twenty-three (23), Township Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10)
<br />West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska. The easement and right-of-way being
<br />more particularly described as follows:
<br />The westerly twenty-five (25) feet of the North One Thousand Eighty Nine
<br />(1,089.0) feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE'/) of Section Twenty-three (23),
<br />Township Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M., Hall County,
<br />Nebraska except the northerly Forty-five (45) feet thereof previously conveyed to
<br />Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />The above-described easement and right-of-way containing a total of 0.62
<br />acres, more or less, as shown on the plat dated November 9, 2009,
<br />marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
<br />together with the following rights:
<br />Grantee shall have unrestricted ingress and egress to the above-described
<br />easement and right-of-way for any purpose necessary for the surveying, construction,
<br />inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, relocation, extension, removal, and
<br />operation of such overhead and underground electric utilities and appurtenances. Such
<br />rights of ingress and egress shall be exercised in a reasonable manner.
