<br />checks, promissory notes, or other commercial or mercantile instruments.

<br />own proper person if personally present, it being my intent to grant to my said
<br />attorney a general power to act for me and in my behalf, and not a limited or

<br />power to redeem, sell or otherw3ise transfer treasury securities, to make decision
<br />and give consents concerning personal relationships and affairs (including
<br />selection of place of abode and arrangement for medical care and the
<br />protection of personal effects}, as well, as may be necessary, to operate farm
<br />property, participate in government programs for agricultural property as
<br />appropriate and the make and enter into contract concerning farm products.
<br />13. To make gifts. If my estate is ample to provide for my needs and if
