2A4 <br /> <br />shall be selected by lot by the Trustee in such manner as <br />the Trustee in its discretion may determine. <br />The ;suer and the Trustee shall, subject to the <br />provisions of this Indenture, comply with any request of the <br />Company for the Issuer tc purchase or redeem any Bonds prior <br />to their stated maturity. <br />Section 302. Redemption Notice. In the event any of <br />the Bonds at the time registered to bearer are called for <br />redemption as aforesaid, the Trustee shall cause notice <br />thereof, identifying the Bonds to be redeemed, to be <br />published at least one '~ime in a newspaper of general state- <br />wide circulation published in the State of Nebraska not less <br />than thirty (30) days prior to the redemption date, and `.n <br />the case of the redemption of any Bonds at the time <br />registered as to principal and interest (except to bearer), <br />upon mailing a copy of the redemption notice by first class <br />mail at least thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed for <br />redemption to the registered owner of each Bond to be <br />redeemed at the address shown on the registration books; <br />provided, however, that failure to give such notice by <br />mailing, or any defect therein, shall not affect the <br />validity of any proceeding for the redemption of Bonds. If <br />all of the Bonds to be redeemed are at that time registered <br />as to principal and interest (except to bearer), notice by <br />mailing given by first class mail to the Bondholders of <br />Record thereof not less than thirty (30) days prior to the <br />date fixed for redemption, as provided above, shall be <br />sufficient, and published notice of the call for redemption <br />need not be given. If, because of the temporary or <br />permanent suspension of the publication or general <br />circulation of any newspaper or financial publication or for <br />any other reason, it is impossible or impractical to publish <br />such notice of call for redemption in the manner herein <br />provided, then such publication in lieu thereof as shall be <br />made with the approval of the Trustee shall constitute a <br />sufficient publication of notice. <br />Section 303. Effect of Callin for Redem tion. on the <br />date so desiginated or re emgtion, notice suing een given <br />in the manner and under the conditions hereinabove provided <br />and sufficient moneys far payment of the redemption price <br />being held ir. separate accounts by the Trustee or by the <br />E'aying Agents, in trust, for the holders of the Bonds to he <br />redeemed, all as provided in this Indenture, (i) the Bonds <br />so called for redemption shall become and be due and payable <br />at the redemption price grovided for redemption of such <br />Bonds on such date, (ii) interest on the Bonds so called for <br />redemption shall cease to accrue, (iii) such Bonds shall <br />cease to be entitled to any benefit or security under this <br />indenture, and (iv) the holders or registered owners of such <br />Bonds shall have no rights in respect thereof except to <br />receive payment of the redemption price thereof. <br />36 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
