<br />EASEFiENT POR STREET-LIGHTING
<br />KEIdidETH L. blORTMAN and MARILYN E. WORTMAN, Husband and Fife, herein
<br />called Grantor, in consideration of dne Dollar ($1.00) receipt of which
<br />is hereby acknowledged, hereby grants and conveys unto the
<br />CITY dF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA,
<br />a municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, herein called Grantee, a
<br />permanent and perpetual easement and right-of-way to sur~~sey, construct,
<br />inspect, maintain, repair, replace, extend, remove and operate thereon,
<br />overhead street-light pales and fixtures, and underground conduits, cables,
<br />terminals, and other appurtenances connected therewith, in, upon, above,
<br />along, across, underneath and through a seven (7) foot wide tract of land
<br />located in part of Burch Subdivision, an addition to the City of Grand Island,

<br />The Westerly seven (7.C9) feet of Lot One (1) of the said Burch
<br />Subdivision. Said tract of land containing 0.02 acres mare ar
<br />less as shown on the plat dated 10,/1/&1 marked Exhibit "A"',
<br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
<br />together with the following 'rights:
<br />Unrestricted ingress and egress to the above-described tract of lead for
<br />installation, maintenance, operation, and removal of such street-lights and
<br />appurtenances.
<br />Such rights of ingress and egress shall include all rights necessary for
<br />the Full and complete use, occupation, sntd en~nyment of the easa~a:ent hereln

<br />remove, clear, aad kelp clear trees, bushes, hedges, undergrowth, and other

<br />maintenance, repair, replacement, excensian, removal, or operation of such
<br />street-lights. No structures, buildings, fences, or other obstructions of any
<br />kind whatsoever, shall be allowed in, upon, above, along, across, underneath,
<br />or through the easement herein granted.
<br />All such street-light poles, fixtures, conduits, cables, terminals, and
<br />of::~z appuz-reran€~s can,~cted therewith, placed in, upon, above, slang, across,
<br />undezneath, and through such easement shall remain tkie property of the Grantee,
<br />and may be reawved or replaced ac any time.
