<br />wife (hereinafter usually referred~to as "homeowner", whether one or more) have
<br />entered-into a certain written DISASTER REPAIR AGREii'MENT dated the 23rd
<br />d$y of _ October , 1981 with the City of grand Island, Nebraska, a
<br />municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred to as "City"), acting
<br />through its Community Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling an
<br />premists owned by Hcn,,towner which are hereinafter described, and for the granting
<br />by City to Homeowner of Federal f!m ds in the amo,.,nt of Six thousand nine hundred
<br />seventy tvaD :.sad no/100------------ Dollars ($ fi,972.00 _ ) to be applitd
<br />in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a) to
<br />repay such amount or, as the case may he, a part thereof to City in certain cir-
<br />cumstances described in the AGREE`~'NT, and (b) ro execute and deliver to City an
<br />instrument in recor~+ahle form granting to City a lien on Che premises to secure
<br />such renayment,
<br />NOW, TIiEREFOP.F., in consideration of such AGREEMENT with City, David 8nd
<br />Verdna Davis _ husband and wife (hereinabove and herein-
<br />below referred to as "Homeowner"). da hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a lien upon the
<br />following described real estate situated in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />Lot 16, Block 2, IIniveraity Place
<br />an addition to the City of grand Tsland,
<br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat
<br />thereoi,
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its successors and
<br />assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or, as the cast may
<br />be. a part thtreof in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the
<br />DISASTER REPAIR AGRk:L•"MEN1' to which reference is made hereinabove.
<br />Tht lien herein granted shall n,n with the premises fora period of two
<br />(2) years from this date, and shall also bind the successors and assigns
<br />and, except as provided in such AGREEMENT, the personal representatives, heirs,
<br />deviates, and legatees of homeowner.
