<br />WHEREAS $fclfard sad Linda Si'lidle~ ___, husband and
<br />wife (hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or morY} have
<br />entered into a certain ;written DISASTER REPAIR At;REE29Eh'Z dated the 13th
<br />day of Oetaber i9 $1 with the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a
<br />iwmicipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred to as "City"), acting
<br />tliraugh-its Community Development Agency, for rehabflitation of a duelling on
<br />premises owned by Homeowner-which are hereinafter described, and for the granting
<br />by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of Three Thousand Eight
<br />Susdred HIfnety-Sin sad 421100 ------ Dollars {53,8% ,42 ) to be applied
<br />in payment of-the cost of such rehabilitation, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such ACP.EEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a} to
<br />repay-such amount or, as the case may he, a part thereof to City in .certain cir-
<br />cumstances described in the AGREEMENT, and (b} to execute and deliver to City an
<br />instrument in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to secure
<br />such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with City, Richard
<br />and Linda-Studleq husband and wife (hereinabove and herein-
<br />below-referred to as "Homeowner"}. do hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a Iien upon the
<br />following described real estate situated in Ha11 County, Nebraska:
<br />Past of Lot H, Joehnck Subdivision
<br />an addition to the City of nand 'Island,
<br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat
<br />thereof,
<br />to secure repayment to l'he City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its successors and
<br />assigns, of the amount of the-grant hereinabove referred to or, as the case may
<br />be, a-part thereof in accordance wi-th the terms and conditions set forth in the
<br />DISASTER REPAIR AGREEMENT to which reference is made hereinabove.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises for a period of trio
<br />(2) years from this date, and shall also bind the successors and assigns
<br />and,. except as provided in such AGREEMENT. the personal representatives, heirs,
<br />devisees, and legatees of Homeowner.
