Should the Sub-Contractor at any time refuse or neglect to supply a sufficiency of properly skilled workmen or of materials of proper quality and quantity, or fail :.n any respect to prosecute wank with promptness and diliger.~e, or fail in performance of any of the agreements on his part herein contained, Contractor shall be at liberty, after two (2} days written notice to Sub-Contractor, to provide any such labor or materials, and to deduct cost thereof from any money due or thereafter to become due to Sub-Contractor under this contraci; and Contractor sha21 also be at.iiberty to terminate employment of Sub-Contractor for said work, and to enter on premises and take possession of all materials and appliances of every kind whatsoever thereon, and to employ any other person or persons to finish work, and to provide materials therefor; and in case of such discontinuance of employment of Sub-Contractor, he shall not be entitled to receive any further payment under this contract until said work shall be wholly finished, at which time, if unpaid balance of amount to be paid under this contract shall exceed expenses incurred by Contractor in finishing work, such excess shall be paid by Contractor to Suh-Contractor, but if such expense shall exceed such unpaid balance, Sub-Contractor shall pay difference to Contractor.
