<br />a Corporation, of Gzand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, Personal
<br />Representative of the :?state of SHERMAN F. TUR2dER, Beceased, Late
<br />of brand .Island, HaII County, Nebraska, Grantor, and JOHN S.
<br />MEVES and JOTdETTA M. MEVES, husband and wife, as ;oint tenants
<br />with right of survivorship, Grantees.
<br />GIITNESSETH: That T_he First National Sank of Grand Island,
<br />being the duly appointed, qualified, and acting Personal Representa-
<br />tive of the Estate of Sherman F. Turner, Deceased, and pursuant
<br />to zhe provisions of the Last Will and Testament of the deceased,
<br />and in consideration of the sum of FORTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLIAAS
<br />($42,400.00), to it paid by Grantees, receipt whereof is hereby
<br />acknowledged, does, by these presents, grant, bargain, sell,
<br />remise, release, convey, and confirm unto the Grantees, the follow-
<br />ing described real estate situated in the County of Hall, State
<br />of Nebraska, to-wit_
<br />Fractional Lot Five (5), in Block Twenty-five (25), In Wiese's
<br />Addition to the City a£ Grand Ssland, Nebraska, and its compi~ent
<br />to-wit: Fractional Lot Five E~), in Fractional B'_ock Twenty-
<br />five (25), in Charles tJasmer's Addition to the City of Grand
<br />Island, Nehraska, and in Was~er's Annex to :first Addition all as
<br />surveyed, platted, and recorded; the whole making a rectangular
<br />lot having a Northerly frontage of 54 Feet on Koenig Street and
<br />a depth of 132 Feet on Adams Street to the alley in said Block,
<br />all in Hall, County, Nebraska,
<br />together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments,
<br />and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining
<br />thereto and also all of the estate, right, title, interest,
<br />property, possession, Claim, and demand whatsoever which the
<br />said Shertsan F. 'Turner had fir. his lifetime and at the time
<br />of his death, and which the Grantor has, by virtue of its
<br />appointment as Personal Representative, or otherwise, of, in,
<br />ar to the above granted premises and e~rery part and parcel
<br />thereto wit}? the appurtenances.
<br />This Deed is given for -he purpose of correcting the
<br />description of a previous deed recorded as Document 80-001350
<br />on March 23, 1430, and is given for the same consideration
<br />stated in the previous deed.
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described premises together
<br />with all tenements, hereditaments, and appurtenances thereunto
<br />belonging unto the Grantees and to their successors and assigns,
<br />or to the heirs and assigns of the survivor of them forever.
<br />And The First }3ational Bank of Grand Island, a corporation,
<br />for itself, its successors, and assigns, does covenant, promise,
<br />and agree to and with the Grantees that it is lawfully the
<br />Personal Representative of r_he Sherman F. Turner ';state, and *hat
<br />as such, it is lawfully seised of said premises, that said premises
<br />are free fret: encumbrances, and that it has the power to convey acid
<br />has acted in making. this conveyance in pursuance of the Last Will
<br />and Testament of Sherman F. Turner, Deceased, and that it has
<br />not made. done, ar suffered env act, matter, or thing whatsoever
<br />as Personal Representative whereby the above granted premises, or
<br />any part thezeof twill, shall, ar may be impe~xche.d, charged or
<br />encumbered in any manner whatsoever.
