81- v~~355 ORDINANCE NO. 6733 An ordinance to vacate a cerr,.ain tzact of land located at the intersection of East South Front Street and Vine Street in the City of Grand Island; and to provide the effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE NAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASitA: SECTION 1. That the Following tract of Iand, more particularly describes as: That part of Vine Street and South Front Street rights-of-way being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point being .we ~r;n++ ~f rhn ~ wertine 0f Vine Street and the Southerly right-ofYway line of the Union Pacific Railroad property; thence N 89° 59' 10" E for 20 feet along the said southerly right-of-way line of tt~e Union Pacific Railroad property; thence South for 172.81 feet on a line 20 feet from and parallel with the centerline of Vine Street to a point of the northerly line extended of the alley in 81ock S0, Original Town; thence S 890 59' 10" W for 5.33 feet along the said extension of the northerly line of the alley to a point on a • curve; thence on a curve to the ieft {having a radius of 340 feet a Jong chord bearing of N 290 28' S0" W for 65.4 feet) for an arc distance of 85.76 feet to a point on the easterly line of vacated Vine Street (Ordinance ito. 4221); thence North for 58.43 feet along ehe easterly line of said vacated Vine Street to a point on the southerly right-of-way line of South Front Street extended; thence S 89° 54' 10" W for 55.34 feet along the said southerly right-of-way line of South Front Street to a point on a curve; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 300 feet a long chord bearing of r, 62° Z1' 28" W for 142.14 feet) For an arc distance of 143.2 feet to a point on the said southerly right-of-way ling of the L'nion Pacific Railroad preperty; thence slang the ;aid southerly right-of-way of the lJniun Pacific Railroad property for the following three courses: 1) :~ 89° 59' 10" E for 168.72 feet: 2) South for 26 feet; 3) N 84° 59' 10" r for 40 feet to the point of beginning; and containing 0.34 acre, more or less, as shown on the drawing marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be, and hereby is, vacated. SECTION 2. That the title to the street vacated by Section 1 of this ordinance shall revert to the owner or owners of lots oz lands abutting the same in proportion to the respective ownerships of such lots oz grounds. SECTION 3. That this ordinance is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, ilebraska. SECTION 4. That Ordinance No. 6729 and any other ordinance oz ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby zepealed. SECTION 5.
