1 ~3 I -~ U ti 1 ~3 7 ORDINANCE N0. 6708 An ordinance to vacate a portion of Double R Subdivision in Hal'1 County, Nebraska; to specify the public highways, streets, alleys and public grounds of said subdivision to be retained; to repeal ordinances in conflict herewith; and to provide the effectige° date of this ordinance. ' WHEREAS, the plat of Double R Subdivision, located outside the corporate limits but within two miles of the City of Grand island, was approved by the City Council of the City on January 21, 1480, and recorded as Document BO-001617 in the office of the Ha11 County Register of Deeds; and WHEREAS, the owners of lots and lands in the plat of Double R Subdivision have petitioned the City of Grand Island to vacate a portion of said plat; and WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island deems it advantageous and best for its interests to grant the petition of said owners; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T11E MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, h'ESRASKA: SECTION 1. That the following described portion of Double R Subdivision is - hereby vacated - - ThaC part of Double R Subdivision lying South of the southerly right-of-wny line of Sharma Street and North of 'Thirteenth cs+ +~c Street, including all of Irene Avenue, Lots One (1), Two {2), ~ ~+ ~ Three (J), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Ten (10}, Eleven (11), Twelve (i2}; Thirteen ti3). Fourteen (14). and Fifteen (15), ~,\ ~= a- except that part of said s~~bdivision which was dedicated as ~~ q ~ right-of-way for Thirteenth Street, and which is located within J an area forty (4O) feet North of the South section line of the Easf Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter {E$SEwSW,} of Section fa even (11~, Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (lO) West of the 6th P.M., Nall County, Nebraska. SECTIGN 2 That all public highways, streets, alleys, easements, and public grounds of said Double R Subdivision shall. be retained except all of Irene Avem~e from the north right-af-way line of Thirteenth Street to the south right-of-way 1'.ne of Sharma Strut. SECTION 3 That this ordinance is hereby directed to be recorded_in_.the ~"-fits of the Hall County Register of Deeds. SECTION 4.~ That all ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
