<br />An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1006; defining the
<br />boundaries of the district; and providing for the improvement of a street within the
<br />district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in connect therewith.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. Street Improvement district No. 1006 in the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, is hereby created.
<br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
<br /> Beginning at a point on the easterly right-of-way line of U.S. Highway
<br /> No. 261, said point being 300.0 feet, or 91.440 meters, North of the
<br /> North right-of-way line of 13th Scree[; thence running easterly on a line
<br /> parallel to and 300.0 feet, or 91.440 meters, distant from the North
<br /> line of 13th Street a distance of 738.5 feet, or 225.095 meters; thence
<br /> running southerly naraliel to the easterly line of U.S. Highway No. 281
<br /> A distance of 300.0 feet, or 9 L 440 meters, to the northerly line of
<br /> 13th Street; thence running easterly on the northerly line of 13th
<br /> SCZeet a distance of 150.0 feet, or 45.720 meters; [hence running
<br /> southerly parallel to the easterly line of ll.S. I!ighway No-. 281 a distance
<br /> of 90.0 feet, or 27.432 meters, to the southerly line of 13th Street;
<br /> [hence runnin; westerly on the southerly line of 13th Street a distance
<br /> of 150.0 feet, or 45.720 meters; thence running southerly parallel to
<br /> the easterly line of li.S. Highway No. 281, a distance of 300 feet, or 91.440

<br /> easterly on the westerly extension of the norr_hcrly line of 13th Street
<br /> a distance of 75.0 fee[, or 22.860 meters, to the easterly line of U.S.
<br /> Highway No. 281; thence running northerly on the easterly line of U.S.
<br /> Highway No. 2S1 a distance of 300.0 feet, or 91.440 meters, ro the point
<br /> of beginning, ail as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto
<br /> and incorporated herein by reference.
<br />SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving,
<br />curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith, including the
<br />eonstructiun of drivewa7s, as shown on the construction plans:
<br />Thirteenth Street :rom ll.5. Highway No. 281 east 888.5 feet.
<br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared
<br />by the Engineer for the City and approved by the :Mayor and Council.
<br />SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof,
<br />excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district
<br />specially benefited [hereby, as provided by law.
<br />SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its
<br />passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by lAw,
<br />SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed-in the
<br />office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
