<br />LJ WHEREAS Mary I. Tnamoas, a single person
<br />(hereinafter usually referred to as °Hameovm er" whether one or more} have
<br />entered into a certain written HOUSING REIIABILITATIOId GRANT AGREEMENT dated
<br />the Ist day of August , Z9 80 with the City of Grand Tsland,
<br />Nebraska, a municipal cerporati.on (hereinafter usually referred to as "City"),
<br />acting through its Co:mnunity Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a
<br />dweliing on premises owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and
<br />for the granting by C'_ty to homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of Six
<br />1Yrousand Nine Hundred Sipty Two & no/100 ])ollars ($ 5,952.00 ) to be
<br />applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, aad
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT. has, among other things, agreed (a)
<br />to reaay such amount or, as the case may be, a part thereof to City in certain
<br />circumstances described in the AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to
<br />City an instrument in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises
<br />to secure such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREE?LENT with City, Mary I.
<br />Leamons, a single person , ~SXX~kIX (hereinabove and herein-
<br />below referred to as "Homeowner"), do hereby grant to CI11 OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA., a Punicipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a lien upon the
<br />following described real estate situated in }ia11 County, Nebraska;

<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat
<br />thereof,
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand lsiand, 2ebraska, its successors znd
<br />assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or, as the case
<br />may be, a part thereof in accordance wiCh the terms and conditions set forth
<br />in the HOUSING REHABILZTATZON GR_AN1' AGREE*LF:N1' to which reference is made herein-
<br />above.
<br />The lien herein granted shall nm with the premises and shall also bind
<br />the successors and assigns and, except as•provided in such AGREEMENT, the
<br />personal representatives, heirs, devisees and lcl,atees of homeowner.
