<br />WHEREAS Frieda Badv a sinQ~p ,~r,c
<br />(hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or more) have
<br />entered into a certain written HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT dated
<br />'' the 7th day of July 19 80 with the City of Grand Island,
<br />"' Nebraska, a municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred to as "CiCy"},
<br />acting through Yts Community Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a
<br />dwelling on premises owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and
<br />-for the granting by City to Homeowner or" Federal funds in the amount of Seven
<br />-Thousand aad no/loo -+------------------Bollars ($ 7.000.00 ) to be
<br />applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a)
<br />to repay such amount or, as the case may he, a part thereof to City in certain
<br />.circumstances described in the AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to
<br />City an instrument in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises
<br />to secure such repayment,
<br />4 NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with Gity,
<br />Frieda Bady, a single person (hereinabove and herein-
<br />below referred Co as "Homeowner"), do hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA, a municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a lien upon the
<br />following described real estate situated in Hall Cmsnty, Nebraska:
<br />North Eighty Eight (88) Feet of.Lot One,
<br />Block Three, Nagy's'Addition
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat
<br />thereof,
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Zs7.and, pTebraska, its successors and
<br />assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or, as the case
<br />may be, a part thereof in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth
<br />in the HOUSL*IG REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is made herein-
<br />above.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run wiT.h the premises and shall also bind
<br />ahe successors and assigns and, except as•provided in such AGREEMENT, the
<br />personal representatives, heirs, devisees and legatees of Homeowner.
