~~~~`~~~ REAL ESTATE LIF,N <br />y~ggAS Lcvuis and Besafe Hall husband and wife <br />(hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or more) have <br />entered into a- certain written HOUSZAIG REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT dated <br />the 29th day of Aprii 19 8O with the City of Grand Island, <br />Nebraska, a municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred *_o as "City"), <br />acting through its Community Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a <br />dwelling on premises owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and <br />£or the granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in Che amount of Six <br />'14~ousand, Six Hundred, Nine ~ No/100-------Dollars ($ 6,604.00 ) to be <br />applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, and <br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a) <br />to repay such amount or, as the case may be, a part thereof to City in certain <br />circumstances described in the AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to <br />City an inscrwnent in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises <br />to secure such repayment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with City, Louis and. <br />Bessie Hall husband and wife (hereinabave'and herein- <br />below referred to as "homeowner"), do hereby grant to CITY OP GRAND I&LAND, <br />NEBRASKA, a Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a Lien-upon the <br />following described real estate situated in Hall County, iebraska: <br />Lot One (1}, Block 'L'wo {2}, Voitles <br />Addition <br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, <br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat <br />thereof, <br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its successors and <br />assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or, as Che case <br />may be, a part thereof in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth <br />in the HOUSING p,E11ABILZTATION GRANT AGREEMEN' [o which reference is made herein- <br />above. <br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises and shall also bind <br />the successors and assigns and, except aS'provided in such AGREEMENT, the <br />personal representatives, heirs, devisees and legatees of Homeowner. <br />Dated this 29th day of April , 19 80 <br /> <br />STATE OF ,~~~ ~~~'-li ~• - ) <br />\ ` } ss <br />County of s~ct~-Q, ) <br />On this }-a~ day of ~~e„~'" _, 14 c~6 before me, the under- <br />sig adz duly commissioned and act>_ g1n and for such county, personally appeared <br />~~~ ~,}AQ~ t __i~~,ca „_ `~uk.C' _, husband and wife, knodm to me to he <br />the Ldentical persons whose signatures aru affixed to the foregoing instrument, <br />and they acknowledged the execution of such instrimient to he their voluntary <br />act(s) rind deed(s). <br />In-witness whereof, I have hereunto set my official hand and ... al the date <br />last above written. <br />Notary public <br />bly comnissirn expires; <br />Gi11€RA!
