<br />(hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or more) have
<br />entered into a- certain written HOUSZAIG REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT dated
<br />the 29th day of Aprii 19 8O with the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, a municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred *_o as "City"),
<br />acting through its Community Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a
<br />dwelling on premises owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and
<br />£or the granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in Che amount of Six
<br />'14~ousand, Six Hundred, Nine ~ No/100-------Dollars ($ 6,604.00 ) to be
<br />applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a)
<br />to repay such amount or, as the case may be, a part thereof to City in certain
<br />circumstances described in the AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to
<br />City an inscrwnent in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises
<br />to secure such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with City, Louis and.
<br />Bessie Hall husband and wife (hereinabave'and herein-
<br />below referred to as "homeowner"), do hereby grant to CITY OP GRAND I&LAND,
<br />NEBRASKA, a Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a Lien-upon the
<br />following described real estate situated in Hall County, iebraska:
<br />Lot One (1}, Block 'L'wo {2}, Voitles
<br />Addition
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, according to the recorded plat
<br />thereof,
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its successors and
<br />assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or, as Che case
<br />may be, a part thereof in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth
<br />in the HOUSING p,E11ABILZTATION GRANT AGREEMEN' [o which reference is made herein-
<br />above.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises and shall also bind
<br />the successors and assigns and, except aS'provided in such AGREEMENT, the
<br />personal representatives, heirs, devisees and legatees of Homeowner.
