ORDINANCE NO. 198 An Ordinance to levy the cost of demolition and removal of buildings located on Lot Nine (9), Block Seven (7), Brett and Johnson's Addition to the City of Woad River, Hall County, Nebraska, as a specia! assessment. WHEREAS, the City of Wood River has employed City crews and used City equipment to demolish and -remove buildings located upon Lot Nine (9), Black Seven ("r), Brett and Johnson's Addition located in the City of Wood River, Hall Cannty, Nebraska, pursuant to Section I8-I722 R.R.S. N.,.,raska, and: WHEREAS, the City of Wood River is empowered by law to levy the costs of demolition and removal of unsafe buildings as a special assessment against the land: BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Mayor and the Council of the City of EVood River, Nebraska: Section I. The cant of removal and demolition of buildings located upon Lit Nine €4 flock Seven (?; , Brett and 3ohnson's Addition to the City of ttiood River, Hall County, Nebraska, is hereby levied as a special assessment against said land in the sum of One Thousand Twenty Dollars ($1,020.00}, Section 2. Said special assessment shall become dse and payable imme- diately upon passage of this Ordinance as provided by ]aw. Section 3. The City Cleric is hereby authorized and directed to file a copy o~ tlu's~rdinance •uith the H311 County Register of Deeds upon its passage.
