<br />QUITGLAIM DEED
<br />1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its
<br />city council an January 7, 1980, enacted Ordinance No. 6540 which
<br />directed the conveyance of the real estate described below and
<br />the manner and terms thereof.
<br />2 Ordinance No. b540 was published in the Grand Island
<br />Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published in and of general
<br />circulation in such City, on January 14, 1980, and immediately
<br />thereaf_ter, notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published
<br />in the brand Island Daily independent for three consecutive
<br />weeks, an January 14, January 21, and January 2$, 1480, all as
<br />required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943.
<br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the
<br />city council of the Gity of Grand island, Nebraska, within thirty
<br />days of the passage and publication of such Ordinance No. b540.
<br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. b540 provides that if na
<br />remonstrance be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city
<br />clerk-finance director shall make, execute, and deliver to the
<br />Grantees a quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the °°°cution
<br />of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without further
<br />action on behalf of the city council.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal
<br />corporation an Hall County, Nebraska, in accordance with the original
<br />grant of real estate to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, the
<br />Grantor herein, in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00), does
<br />hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto
<br />CHRIS J. KALLOS,
<br />herein called the Grantee, the following described real pragerty
<br />in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />The westerly thirty {30) feet or vacated
<br />Hancock Avenue between West North Front Street
<br />and Fifth Street in the City of Grand island,
<br />Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />To have and to hall the above described premises, together
<br />with al.l tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto
<br />belonging unto the Grantees and to Grantees' heirs and assigns
<br />forever.
