r ORDINANCE N0. b536 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 995; defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvetient of streets within the district by - gaving, guttering and all incidental work in connection therewith; and to provide £or an effective date of this ordinance. ` BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITX OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 495 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2, Tne boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of Grace Avenue, said point being 150 feet North of the North line of Fifth Street; thence running South on the West line of Grace Avenue for a distance of 360 feet to a point 150 feet South of the South line of Fifth Street; thence running West on a line parallel to and ISO feet South - of the South line of Fifth Street for a distance of 564 feet to the - East line of Custer Avenue; thence r,~ning North on Che Eaat line of Custer Avenue for a distance of 360 feet to a point 150 feet North of the North line of Fifth Street; thence running East on a line pa;allel to and 150 feet North of the North line of Fifth Street Por a distance of 564 feet to the West line of Grace Avenue, being - the point of beginning, all as sho•+m on the plat marked Exhibit A , attached hereto and inco orated herein *, reference. x'P Y SECTION 3. The following streets in the district shall be improved by paving, ,~ curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: ' Fifth Street from Custer Avenue to Grace Avenue, Said improvements shall be made in accordance wlth plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayox and Cpuncil. SECTIEMI 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the coat thereaf,_- excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands is the district agccielly benefited thereby, as provided by law.
