<br />MID-CONTINENT ENTERPRISES, INC., a Nebraska corporation, herein
<br />called the Grantor, in consideration of 51.00 and other consideration
<br />receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hereby grants an3 conveys unto
<br />the
<br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA,
<br />a municipal corporation in Ha11 County, Nebraska, herein called Grantee,
<br />a permanent and perpetual easement and right-of-way to survey, construct,
<br />inspect, maintain, repair, replace, extend, remove, and operate thereon
<br />underground electric utility lines, cables, terminals, tzarsf::-ors,
<br />surface markers, and other appurtenances connected therewith, in, upon,
<br />above, along, across, underneath and through a sixteen (16) foot wide
<br />tract of land containing 0.14 acre, more or less, labeled "Electric
<br />Easement" located in part of Lots One (1) and Two (2) of Blcc}z Eight (8),
<br />Replat, Continental Gardens, a subdivision in Grand Island, Nebraska, as
<br />shown on the accompanying plat marked Exhibit "A", dated 7/17/79, attached
<br />t±ereto and incorporated herein by reference, together with the following
<br />rights:
<br />Unrestricted ingress and egress to the above described tract of land
<br />far installation,'maintenance, operation and remo.>al of such utilities
<br />and appurtenances.
<br />Such rights of ingress and eg~iess shall include all rights necessary
<br />for the full and complete use, occupation and enjoyment of the easement
<br />herein granted, including the right to excavate and refill ditches and
<br />trenches, ~.. ~~.,.,,. char and keep clear of trees, bushes, hedges,
<br />undergrowth, and other obstructions interfering with the surveying, con-
<br />sr_.ructian, inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, extension,

<br />buildings, ar fences-of any kind whatsoever shall be allowed in, upon,
<br />_ above, along, across, underneath, or through the easement herein granted.
<br />Gratitar and Grantee agree that Granter shall have the right to pave
<br />- over the easement area and use the easement area for parking and ingress
<br />and egress; provided, if Grantee needs to construct, inspect, maintain,
<br />replace, extend, remove or operate anything with such easement, the cost
