<br />An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 984; defining the bounder+es of
<br />the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving,
<br />curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and to provide for an
<br />effective date of this ordinance.
<br />BE IT ORDAINEB BY THE MAYOR AND CO1tNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 984 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />is hereby created. ,
<br />SECTZON 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point on the West line of St. Paul Road and 300 feet, or 91..440
<br />meters, North of the northerly line of Twelfth Street; thence running southerly
<br />on the West line of St. Paul Koad for a distance of 300 feet, or 91.440 meters,
<br />to the northerly line of Twelfth Street; thence running northeasterly on "he
<br />northerly line of Twelfth Street extended for a distance of 93 fee[, or 28.346
<br />meters, to the easterly lire of S[. Paul Road; thence running southerly on the
<br />easterly line of St. Paul Koad to the southerly line of Twelfth Street; thence
<br />running westerly on the southerly line of Twelfth Street for a distance~cf 93
<br />feet, oz 28.346 meters, to the westerly line of St. Paul Road; thence running.
<br />~s~ southerly on the westerly line of St. Paul. Road for a distance of 145.75 feet,
<br />or 44.425 meters, to the southerly line of Lot 1, Capitol Hill Addition; thence

<br />~' ~ said addition for a distance of 1b7.5 feet, or 51.054 meters, to a point on the

<br />is said point being 300 feet, or 91.440 meters, North of the northerly line of

<br />or 91.440 meters, North of the northerly line of Tr-clfth Street, for a distance -

<br />thence running easterly on a line to a point on the westerly line of St. Paul
<br />Road, said point being 300 feet: or 41.440 meters, North of the northerly line
<br />of Twelfth Street, being the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked
<br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
<br />SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing,
<br />guttering, and a12 incidental work in connection therewith:
<br />Twelfth Street from the westerly line of Warren Lane to the westerly line
<br />of St, Paul Road.
<br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plan=_ and specifications prepared by
<br />the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council.
<br />• SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof,
<br />excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially
<br />benefited thereby, as provided by law.
<br />SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage,
<br />approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law.
<br />SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office
<br />of the Register of Deeds, Ha21 County, Nebraska.
<br />SECTIDN 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the '
<br />creation o; said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal
<br />aewspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
