79--i~Q~~~.l <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, has offered to purchase a tract of <br />land described as: <br />A tzact of land comprising the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter (W~NEkSE3L), and the East Half of the Northwest <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (E}N*d':SE~), a21 in Section Thirty-four <br />(34}, Tawnship Twelve (12) North, Range Nine (9) ITest of the bth P.M., <br />in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginniri; at the Northeast Corner of said West Half of the Northeast <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (W~NE~SE~); thence southerly along <br />the East line of said West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the South- <br />east Quarter (W=iNE~SE~) a distance of one thousand three hundred fourteen <br />and seventy-eight hundredths (1,314.78) fact, to the Southeast Corner of <br />said West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (WkNE~SE~); <br />thence zaesterly along the South line of said West Half of the Northeast <br />Quarter of the Scutheast Quarter (SdkNE'R.SEy} and the South Iine of said <br />East Half of the Northc.*es[ Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (E~NIJ~;SE~) <br />a distance of one 'housand three hundred twenty-one and sixty-three <br />hundredths (1,321. b3) feet to the Southwest Corner of said East Half of <br />the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (E~NW~Sci); thence <br />northerly along the tdest line of said East Half of the Northwest Quarter <br />of the Southeast Quarter (E~N[d~SE$) a distance of one thousand three <br />hundred thirteen and nine-tenths (i,3i3.9) feet, to the Northwest ^- r.== <br />of said East Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast QuarterV1 <br />(E~NW~;SE~); thence easterly along the North line of said East Half of <br />the Northwest Quarter of *_he Southeast Quarter (E~NI.'~SE}) and the i7orth <br />Line of said West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter <br />(W~NE~SE~) a distance of one thousand three hundred twenty-one and <br />eight-tenths (1,321.8) feet to the place of beginning, and containing <br />39.b17 acres, more or less; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, in conjunction with the Hall County Airport Authority <br />and the Federal Aviation Administration, is willing to sell said tract of land subject to <br />certain term= and conditions at set forth in an agreement between the Federal Aviation <br />Administration and the County of Ball for purchase price of $145,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island in cooperation with the State of Nebraska <br />through the `:ebraska CoR:nission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice will on May 3, 1479, <br />close necessary bonding for construction of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center <br />to be constructed on the above-described site, thereby making it possible to close the real <br />estate transaction between the City of Grand Sslaad aa3 tt;e County of Hall; <br />NOtd, THEREFOR°, RE ZT RESOLVED BY THE fiOARD OF SUPERVISORS FOR HALL COUNTY, <br />NEBRASKA, that the Chairman of the Beard of Supervisors should bA, and hereby is, directed <br />to sign the quitclaim deed to the City of Grand Island for the tract of land above described <br />in accordance with the teres and conditions of the agreement between the Federal Aviation <br />Administration and the County of Hall for a purchase price of $145,000 to be paid to the <br />Halt County Airport Authority. <br />2~ved by S <br />Roll tail <br />Moti~ carried 1 ^ <br />~1~~ s <br />r_,~..,~. - ~. <br />
