<br />1, `ihe City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by actiar. of its r_ity co~,incil on July 15,
<br />1974, enacted Ordinance No. 5693 which directed the conveyance of +,he real estate des-
<br />cribed below and the manner and terns thereof.
<br />2. Ordinance Nc. 5693 was published in the ;rand Island Daily Independent, a
<br />legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such City on July 22, 1974,
<br />and, immediately thereafter, notice cf such sale and the terms thereof were published
<br />in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecutive weeks, on July 22, 1974,
<br />July 29, 1974, and August 5, 1974, all as require3 by Section 16-202, R, R. S. 1943.
<br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the city council of the City
<br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of such
<br />Ordinance No. 5693
<br />~+. Section 5 of Ordinance Iv'e. 5693 provides that if no remonstrance be filed
<br />against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk-fi:?ance director shall. make, execute,
<br />and deliver to t'rxe Grantees a quitclaim dee3 fcr said re~ry estate, and the execution of
<br />such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without flxrther action on beY.alf of the city
<br />council.
<br />NOW, 'IIIEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation in
<br />rTa11 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in cons-ideration of Eleven Dollars Twenty-five Cents
<br />(11,25), does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, an3 confirm unto
<br />JACK T. BEACHLER and KATHLEEN A. BEACHLER,
<br />husband and wife,. as joint ter_ants with rig'nt of surviviorship and not as tenants in
<br />common, herein called the Grantees, the following described real property in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska:
<br />A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter (~V'4i,,x-~) of the Southwest quarter
<br />(SW4) of Sectior_ 21, fiownshi.p 11 North, Range 9 West of the 6th P. m.,
<br />in Ha11 County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point on the east line of said Northwest quarter of the
<br />Southwest quarter (NW4SWy) of said Section 21, as now located, said point
<br />being 762.3 feet north from the southeast corner of said NW4,SW4; running
<br />thence north on said east lice 75 feet; running thence west at right
<br />angles 100 feet: running thence south at right angles 75 feet; running
<br />thence east at right angles 100 feet to the poir_t of beginning excepting
<br />therefrom the county road 33 feet in width on the east side thereof.
<br />Ta uave and to hold the above described premises, together with all tenements,
<br />hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging untc the lrrante~ and to Grantees'
<br />heirs and assigns forever.
