Ordinance Nc. 5693 was published in the ;rand Island Daily Independent, a <br />legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such City on July 22, 1974, <br />and, immediately thereafter, notice cf such sale and the terms thereof were published <br />in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecutive weeks, on July 22, 1974, <br />July 29, 1974, and August 5, 1974, all as require3 by Section 16-202, R, R. S. 1943. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the city council of the City <br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of such <br />Ordinance No. 5693 <br />~+. Section 5 of Ordinance Iv'e. 5693 provides that if no remonstrance be filed <br />against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk-fi:?ance director shall. make, execute, <br />and deliver to t'rxe Grantees a quitclaim dee3 fcr said re~ry estate, and the execution of <br />such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without flxrther action on beY.alf of the city <br />council. <br />NOW, 'IIIEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation in <br />rTa11 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in cons-ideration of Eleven Dollars Twenty-five Cents <br />(11,25), does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, an3 confirm unto <br />JACK T. BEACHLER and KATHLEEN A.
