BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COCNCIL OF TEO: CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Hater Maier District No. 347 in the City o£ Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created for the laying o£ a six-inch, or 15.24 centimeters, valet main in Houahkirk Subdivision from the existing water main in Rt+elfth Street. SECTION 2. The boundaries of such water main district shall be as follows: Eeglnning ac the Northeast Corner of Houghkirk Subdivision; thence running southerly on the easterly line of Haughkirk Subdivision for a distance of 366.b7 feet, or 311 ?51 -_ .. to the Southeast ^---- of -aid subdivision; thmee sunning southwesterly on the southerly line of~aaid subdivision for a distance of 99.55 feet, or 30.437 meters, to a point on the easterly line of Herren Lane; thence running southeasterly on the easterly line of Hazrea Lane extended, for a distance of 227.07 feet, oz 69.211 aeters, to a paint oa the southerly Line of Twelfth Street; thence running southwesterly on the p W southerly line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 60 feet, or 18.288 meters; ° ti g thence running northwesterly on the extended westerly lire of 4+arzen Lane i =s ~ for a distance of 212 feet, or 64.018 aeters, to the southerly line of w i Houghkirk Subdivision; thence running southwesterly on the southerly Line ai w of said subdivision for a distance of 1:5 feet, oz 53.340 meters, to the a ~ westerly line of said subdivision; thence runnin¢ northwesterly on the westerly line of said subdivision for a distance of 637.7 feet, or 194.3?1 W meters, to the NorCcsvest Gorner of said subdivision; thence running easterly J oa the northerly line of said subdivision for a distance of 576.55 feet, or 175,632 aeters, to the Northeast Corner of said subdivision, being the point of begimiing, alI as show on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the Citp who shall estimate the cost thereof, and submit the aaae to the Citp Council, and upon approval of the same, bids for the construction of sash Crater main shall be taken and contracts catered into in the manner provided by lay.
