<br />An ardinarce creating Street Improvement District No. 973; defining the boundaries
<br />of the district; providing for the imnrovement of a street within the district by saving,
<br />curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing for

<br />' SE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUr:CIL OF THE CITY OF GRAFID ISLAND, NE$RASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. Streit Improvement District No. 973 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />is hereby created. .
<br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point on the north line of Spruce Road and 187 feet, or
<br />55.998 meters, east of the easterly line of Spring Road; thence running
<br />easterly on the north line of Spruce Road for a distance of 113 feet, or
<br />34.442 meters, to a point 3G0 feet, or 91.44 meters, east of the easterly
<br />line of Spring Road; thence running southerly on a line parallel to and
<br />300 feet, or 91.44 meters, east of the easterly line of Spring Road for
<br />~ ~ a distance of 584.4 feet, or 178.125 meters, to a point on the southerly
<br />o ,~ w line of Stolley Park P,oad; thence running westerly on the southerly line
<br />~ j~ m ~ ~ of Stolley Park Road for a distance of 560 feet, or 170.688 meters; thence

<br />°"~ w or 380.579 meters, to a point on the northerly line of Church Road; thence
<br />~ running easterly on the northerly sine of Church Road for a distance of
<br />~ ¢ 447 feet, or 236.247 meters; thence running southerly on a line parallel
<br />w to and 187 feet, or 56.995 meters, east of the easterly line on Spring
<br />~ Road, for a distance of 664.1, feet, or 2G2.430 meters, to a point on
<br />the northerly line of Spruce Road, being the point of beginning, all as
<br />shown on the~plat marked Exhibi[ "A" attached berets and incorporated
<br />' herein by reference.
<br />SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing,
<br />guttering, and all incidental work connected therewith:
<br />Spring Road from the north line of Stolley Park Raad to the north line
<br />of Church Road.
<br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by
<br />the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council.
<br />SECTION 4.~ The improveme~`_s shall be made at public cost, but the cast thereof,
<br />excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially
<br />benefited thereby, as provided by law.
<br />SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage,
<br />approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law.
<br />SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office
<br />of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />SECTION 7. tEfter passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the
<br />creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal
<br />newspaper published in and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
