The Subdivider shall install and maintain all public sidewalks required <br />by the City of Grand Island when the lots are built upon, and such sidewalk shall be regulated and <br />required with the building permit for each such lot. <br />6. Flood Plain. Since portions of this subdivision are within a delineated flood plain, <br />all structures constructed on lots in the flood plain shall have the lowest floor elevation to a <br />minimum of one foot above the elevation of the 100-year flood as determined by the building permit <br />received by the Subdivider or successors from the Building Department under the provisions of <br />Section 2-1506.05, R.R.S. 1943, No basement shall be constructed in connection with any structure <br />in the flood plain unless such basement is floodproofed and certified as such by a qualified engineer <br />or architect. <br />7. Emergency Access. The road bed for the planned extension of Vermont Avenue east <br />of the platted and dedicated portion of the street to Idaho Avenue and Idaho Avenue between <br />Vermont Avenue extended and the platted and dedicated portion of Idaho Avenue located in <br />Woodland Park Fourth Subdivision shall be graded and graveled to provide emergency vehicle <br />access between Idaho Avenue and Vermont Avenue. This shall be maintained by the Subdivider <br />until such time as this portion of Vermont Avenue and this portion of Idaho Avenue is dedicated and <br />accepted as an improved city street. No streets in this subdivision shall be accepted by the city until <br />such time as the emergency access has been improved. <br />8. Easements. Any easements shall be kept free of obstructions and the Subdivider shall <br />indemnify the City for any removal or repair costs caused by any obstructions. In addition, the duty <br />to maintain the surface of any easements to keep them clear of any worthless vegetation or nuisance <br />shall run with the land. <br />9. Engineering Data.
