ENGEL, husband and wife, herein called the <br />Grantors, in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other consideration, receipt of which <br />is hereby acknowledged, hereby grants and conveys unto the <br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, <br />A municipal corporation in Hall County, State of Nebraska, herein called the Grantee, a tract <br />of land for a public right -of -way consisting of part of the Northeast quarter and Southwest <br />quarter of Section 24, Township I1 North, Range 10 West of the 6th PM, Hall County, <br />Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the East line of the Southwest Quarter Section 24 -11 -10 said <br />point being 810' South of the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter Section 24- <br />11 -10 thence continuing South on said East line of the Southwest Quarter Section 24- <br />11-10 for a distance of 150.6' thence West on a line perpendicular to the East line of <br />the Southwest Quarter of Section 24 -11 -10 for a distance of 12.3' thence <br />Northwesterly on a line to a point where it intersects a line 810' South of the North <br />line of the Southwest Quarter Section 24 -11 -10 thence East on a line 810' South of <br />and parallel to the North line of the Southwest Quarter Section 24 -11 -10 for a distance <br />of 18.7' to a point of beginning; containing 2,334.3 s.f. <br />To have and to hold the above - described premises together with all tenements, <br />hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and to Grantee's <br />successors and assigns forever. <br />And the Grantor does hereby covenant with the Grantee and with Grantee's successors <br />and assigns that Grantor is lawfully seized of said premises; that they are free from <br />encumbrance; that Grantor has good right and lawful authority to convey the same; and that <br />Grantor warrants and will defend the title to said premises against the lawful claims of all <br />persons whomsoever. <br />
