K IT ORDAINED BY 'THE MAYOR AND COIPCIL Or THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTIM 1. Street Improvement District No. 1052 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall. be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the East line of Vine Street and the South Line of Twelfth Street, said point also Toeing the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 36, Russell Wheeler's Addition; thence proceeding westerly along an extension of the South line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 40 feet: thence deflecting right in a northerly direction 40 feet from and parallel Q to the East line of Vine Street for a distari•_a of $0 feet; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction along, an extension of the North line of :welft`i CID y_ Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting left in a northerly d~ direction•along the East line of Vine Street for a distance of 132 feet; wMP w thence deflecting right in an easterly direction 132 feet from and parallel 2 o to the North line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 26t feet; thence deflecting right in a southerly direction along the West line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way f-'r a distance of 344 feet; thence deflecting L I right in a westerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the Sou'ch line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 264 feet: thence deflecting right in 2i northerly direction along the East line of Vine Street for a distance at 132 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhi'ait "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The follawing street in the district shall be improved by pr.ving, curbing. guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Twelfth Street from Vine Street to the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district special!I benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the r office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent. a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
