Street Improvement District No. 1051 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br /> is hereby created. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows; <br /> Beginning at the junction of the East line of Vine Street and the South <br /> line of Fourteenth Street, said point also being the Northwest corner 'of <br /> Lot 5, Block 66, Wheeler & Bernett's Second Addition; thence proceeding <br /> westerly along an extension of the South line of Fourteenth Street for a <br /> distance of 40 feet: thence deflecting right in a northerly direction 40 <br /> feet from and parallel to the East line of Vine Street for a distance of <br /> 80 feet; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction along an extension <br /> of the North line of Fourteenth Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence <br /> deflecting left in a northerly direction along the East line of Vine Street <br /> for a distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction <br /> 132 feet from and parallel to the North line of Fourteenth Street for a distance <br /> of 264 feet; thence deflecting right in a southerly direction along the West <br /> line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way for a distance of 344 <br /> feet; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction 132 feet from and parallel <br /> to the South line of Fourteenth Street for a distance of 264 feet; thence <br /> deflecting right in a northerly direction along the East line of Vine Street <br /> for a distance of 132 feet to the point of.beginninb, all as shown on the <br /> plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be impro^ted by paving, curbing, <br /> z guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: <br /> O U4 <br /> n~. .7 Fourteenth Street from Vine Street to the Burlington Northern Railroad <br /> a right-of-way. <br /> Q. <br /> Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared <br /> z p <br /> by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. <br /> SECTION 4• The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, <br /> excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially <br /> benefited thereby, as provided by law. <br /> SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its <br /> passage, approval, and publication, without the plat. as provided by law. <br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the <br /> office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. <br /> SECTION 7.
