BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR P:.'lD COUNCIL OF THE 'rl OF C?U ND ISLANa, NEBRASKA. SECTION 1. Street Improveimp-nt Gistri4,r No. 1050 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the South line of Eighth Street and the East line of Vine Street, aaid point also beingg the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 7, Voitle's Addition; thence proceeding northerly along. an extension of the Easy line of Vine Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the South line of Eighth Street for a distance of 80 feet; thence deflecting left in a southerly direction along an extension of the West line of Vine Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction along the South w line of Eighth Street for a distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting left in a southerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the West line of Vine Street for a distance of 280 feet; thence deflecting left in an easterly rn diricr.ion along the idozCh line of Seventh Street for a distance of 132 feet; co ¢ thence deflecting; right in a southerly direction along an extension of the cz La West lire of Vine Street for a distance of 40 feet: thence deflecting left ° v a in an easterly direction 40 feet from and parallel i.r, the North line of Seventh ca a -j Street for a distance of 80 feet: thence deflecCi','',g left in a northerly direction 0 along an extension of the East line of Vine Street for a distance of 4.0 Peer; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction along the North line of Seventh Street for a distance of 132 feet: thence deflecting left in a north- erly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the East line of Vine Street for a distance of 280 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction along the South line of Eighth Street for a distance of 132 feet to, the poir,: of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Vine Street from Seventh Street to Eighth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially C benefited thereby. as provided by law. r SECTION S. This ordinance shall be ir. force and take effect from and after its passa,c, approval, and publication, without tF,a plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Halal County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said ty, as provided by law.
