BE IT ORDAINED aY THE MA10'.t AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1048 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the South line of Fifth Street and the East line of Vine Street., said point also being the Northwest corner of 1_ot 4. SECTION 3. The following; street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing;, 5 guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Vine Street frorn Fourth Street to Fifth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The irprovements shall be made at public cast, but the cost thereof, excluding intersection:;, shall be assessed upor. the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its f passage, approval, and publication, without the prat, as provided by law. SEC•T'lCN 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of. Dtreds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTI.G;. 7. After passage, approval, and publication of thin ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall he published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper -Published and of general circulation in said City, as prvvid,~d by law.
