BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1047 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is 1 reby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall bN. as follows: Beginning at the junction of the South line of Fourch Street and the East line of Vince Street, said point also being the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 47, Original Town, now City of Grand Island; thence proceeding northerly along an extension of the East line of Vince Street for a dis'ance of 40 feet: thence deflecting left in a westerly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the South line of Fourth Street for a distance of 80 feet; thence deflecting left in a southerly direction along, an extension of the Weet line of Vine Street for a distance of 40 feat; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction 4 i slang the South line of Fourth Street for a distance of 132 feet; thence Co a deflecting left in a southerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the r~ w on West line of Vince Street for a distance of 260 feet; thence deflecting left ict an easterly dtrectiar: along, the North line of Nnrr}' Front Street an a w O ¢ prolongation of this line for a distance of 344 feet, thence deflecting left c w in a northerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the Fast lint' of Vine Street for a distance of 280 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction along the South line of Fourth Street for a distance e` 132 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by referencF!. s^' it SEC'T'ION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing,, gut:t•ering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Vine Street from North Front Street to Fourth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, ' excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5.. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said District shall be published in the Grand'Island Daily Independent, a leg;.:;l newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
