SECTION 2. The boundaries r,f the district shall be as follows-. Beginning at the junction of thn East line of Kimball A•ven,.. and the South line of Ninth Street, said point also being the hort~,%4est corner of Lot 4, Block 134. Union Pacific Railraay Co's Seccnd Additi.c;n; thence proceeding in a northerly direction along an extension. of th;.r. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Kimball Avenue from Eighth Street to Ninth Street:. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and appxoved by the Mayor and Council_ SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but 'she cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the pla:, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said distric4 shall be published in the Grand Island Daily independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, a provided by lax.
