BE IT ORDi,.INED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL G: THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTIF')14 i. Street Improvement District No. 1044 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, in h;:-::eby -seated. 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning; at the junction of the East line of Kimball Avenue aced the. SECTION 3. The fallowing street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: - Kimball Avenue from Fifth Street to Sixth Street. Said Improvements shall be made i.n accordance with plans and specifications prepared by r the Engineer for the City axed ap?roved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district: specially ` benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After paassage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in maid City, as provided by law.
