BE 17 ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR ARID COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. 5creet Improvement District No. 1043 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the Esst line of Kimball Avenue and the South line of Fifth Str(,et, said point also being the Northwest corner of l.ot 4, Block 28, Oricinai Town, now City of Grand Island; thence proceeding in a northerly direction along an extension of the East line of Kimball Avenue for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the South line of Fifth Street for a distance of 80 feet; thence deflecting left in a southerly direction along an extension of the west line of Kimball Avenue for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting; right in a westerly direction along the South line of Fifth Street for a o r, w distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting left in a southerly direction 132 c :E feet from and parallel to the west line of Kimball Avenue for a distance- of r- Cr: 280 feet; thence deflecting left in an easterly direction along the North line of Fourth Street for a distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting right 0, u' in a southerly direction along an extension of the West line of Kimball Avenue y for a distance of 40 fee': thence deflecting left in an easterly direction c~ < 40 feet from and parallel to the North line of Fourth Street for a distance of 80 feet; thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along an extension of the East line of Kimball Avenue for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction along the North line of Fourth Street_ for a distance of 132 feet: thence deflecting left in a northerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the East line of Kimball Avenue for a distance of 280 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction along the South line of Fifth Street for a distance of 132 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhi')it "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbinw;, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Kimball Avenue froth Fourth Street to Fifth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval., and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, }call County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand.
