<br />REAL ESTATE LIEN
<br />WHEREAS Carl and Doris Hagan, husband and wife, {hereinafter
<br />usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or more) has
<br />entered into a certain written HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT
<br />AGREEMENT dated the ~- day of •!~?rr„~`- 19 8 2 w i t h t h e C i ty
<br />of Grand Lsland, Nebraska, a municipal corporation {hereinafter
<br />usually referred to as "City"), acting through its Community
<br />Development' Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises
<br />owned. by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and ~o r the
<br />granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of
<br />Five Thousand Four Aundred Sixty-Six and 00/100 Dollars
<br />{$5,466.00) to be applied in payment of the cost of such
<br />rehabilita*_ion, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other
<br />things, agreed {a) to repay such amount or, as the-case may be, a
<br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the
<br />AGREEMENT, and {b) to execute and deliver to City an instrument
<br />in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to
<br />secure such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with
<br />City, Carl and Doris Hagan, .husband and wife does hereby grant to
<br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASRA, A Municipal Cororation, its
<br />successors and assigns, a lien upon the following described real
<br />estate situated. in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />South One-Half {S 1/2) of Lot Five {5> and Lot Six (6)
<br />South One-Half {S 1/2) of West Six Feet {W 6') of Lot Seven t7)
<br />Block Ninety-Two {92), Original Town of Grand Island
<br />Hall County, Nebraska
<br />according to the record plat thereof,
<br />to secure regayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its
<br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove
<br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance
<br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the HOUSING
<br />REHABILITAT-ION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is made
<br />hereinabove.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises for a
<br />period of four t4) years from this date, and shall also bind the
<br />successors and assigns and, excegt as provided in such AGREEMENT,
<br />the personal representatives,. heirs, deviseees, and legatees of
<br />Homeowner.
