<br />REAL ESTATE LIEN 82-UQ4877 <br />WHEREAS Walter and Marrion Davis, husband and wife <br />.thereinafter usually refer-=mod to as "Homeowner", whether one or <br />more) has entered into a certain written HOUSING REHABILITATION <br />GRANT AGREEMENT dated the ~ day of ~,,.,.,_,,,~,~1 , 19 8 2 w i t h t he <br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation -- <br />thereinafter usually referred to as "City"), acting th-rough its <br />Community Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling on <br />premises owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and <br />for the granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the <br />.amount of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred .Seventy-Eighty and <br />2.6/100 Dollars ($14,478.26) to be applied in payment of-the cost <br />of such rehabilitation, and <br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other <br />things. agreed ta) to repay such amount or, as the case may be, a <br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the <br />AGREEMENT, and tb) to execute and deliver to City an instrument <br />in recordable f orm granting to City a lien on the premises to <br />secure such repayment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with <br />City, Walter and Marrion Davis, husband and wife does hereby <br />grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASRA, A Municipal Cororation, <br />its successors and assigns, a lien upon the following described <br />real estate situated in Hall County, Nebraska: <br />Lot One il), Block One Hundred Fifty-One t151), <br />Union Pacific Railroad Second Addition <br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br />according to the record glat thereof, <br />to secure repaymen t to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its <br />successors and assigns, of the amount of-the grant hereinabove <br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is-made <br />hereinabove. <br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises for a <br />period of three t3) years from this date, -and shall-also bind the <br />successors and assigns and, except as provided in such AGREEMENT, <br />the personal representatives, heirs, deviseees, and legatees of <br />Homeowner. <br />Dated this n7.>z.(,i day of '7~s~G_c-,,-,.~ shj 1982.
