BE IT ORDAINED BY THE HAY"Git r+ND CriiiNCii. Gr' TFiE C:i'i OF G£~l\D ISLA:7C, `7EBP.ASi{A:- SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1024 in the Cfty of Grand Island,-Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as Follows: Beginning at a point along the easterly line of Illinois Avenue, said point also being '$3.4 Feet North of the northerly Line of Twentieth Streec; thence easterly 183.4 feet from and parallel to the northerly line of Twentieth Street for a distance of 92? feet; thence defi.ect£ng right in a southerly direction along the easterly line ai Lac 12, Leer Subdivision, for a distance of 3]8.8 teat; thence deflecting right along the northerly Itne of the starm drainage right-af-way for a distance of 990 Feet to the Sauthwest corner ai Lot 26, Geer Subdivision• thence deflect£ng right along Che westeri,y line ai Lot 26, C.eer Subdivision, and a prolongatfen of this Line fora distance of 18.4 feet; thence deflecting right along [he northerly iin€ of Twentieth Streec For a distance of 6U feet; thence deflecting Leff along the easterly tine of 111inois Avenue For a distance of 183.4 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereta and incarparated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the distract shall be improved br paving, curbing, guttering, and alF incidental work in connection therewith: Twentieth Street from the east Ilse of Let I2. Gear Subdivision, to the west line of 21Ltnois Avenue, Lv£n¢ north of Twentieth Street. Said improvements shall be lade in accordance vith plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer far the Gi.Cy and appraved ~y the Haycr and Caunc il. SECTION 4. The improvements shah be ;Wade at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall foe assessed upon the Lats and lands in the district specially beneficed thereby, as provided by Law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take affect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, withaut the plat, as pravicied by law. SECTION 6. This ardinance, with the plat, :s here 6v directed to be fi.!rd in the office of the Regtscer of Deeds, Hall C:aunty, Nebraska. SECTIOY 'r. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shaL2 be published in the Granri =stand Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided 6y law.
