<br />WHEREAS Mary Shammnon, (hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner°,',
<br />wherher one or more) has ea[ered into a certain written HOUSING REHABLLITATION
<br />C>RANT AGREEMENT dated the ,gin day of 4982 with the City.: of Grand
<br />Leland, Nebraska, a muxticipal corporation hereinafter usually referred to -as
<br />"City"), acting through its 'Community Development Agency:, for rehabilitation of
<br />a dwelling oa premises owned by Homeowner which "are'hereinafter `described, and
<br />for 'the granting"by ,City to Homeownez of Federal funds is the amounL;of Twelve
<br />Thousand`Seven Hundred-Eighty-One and 47/100 Dollars {S12,781.47) to be' applied
<br />in payment of`the coat of such rehabilitation, and
<br />WHEREAS', Homeowne- zn such `AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed {a) o
<br />-repay such amount oY, as the case may be, a part thereof to City in certain
<br />circarmstances described in -the AGREEMENT, and (b)?to execute and deliver to City
<br />an instrument in recordable form granting to City a lien" on the premises to
<br />secure such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE-in consideration of such AGREEMENT wi[h`City, Kary Shannon,
<br />does hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLANDy NEBRASKA, A Municipal ::ororation, i[s
<br />successors sad assigns, a lien upon tfie falloving!descrbad real estate situated
<br />-in Hal1'Countp,`Nebraska:
<br />North:One-Half.(N 1/2) bf Lot Four (4):
<br />Block Ninety-Three (93 ), Original Towh,
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />according to the: record plat thereof;.
<br />to secure repaymenx to the City of Grand. Island; Nebraska, its successors' sad
<br />assigns; of the amount'of the grant hereinabove referred 'to or,>as the :case may
<br />be, a part thereof ih accordance vith'the termsrand.conditiona set forth in the
<br />HOUSING REHABILITATION'GRANT AGREEMENT to which"reference is made+hereiuabove.'
<br />The lien herein granted shal run with the premises for a.period'of three
<br />(3) years from'thia date, and shali also bind the-successors and` assigns and,
<br />except, as provided in such AGREEMENT, the personal"representatives, heirs,
<br />deviseeea, and legatees of Homeowner.
