<br />WHEREAS Leah Schlue-ter, a single person, (hereiaa:fter usually referred to
<br />as "Homeowner",.whether ane or more). has en[ered into a certain written HOUSING
<br />REHABZF.ITATZON GRANT AGREEMENT dated the 4th day of 3une, 1982 with the City of
<br />Grand i land, Nebraska, a municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred ~.o
<br />as "City") , acting through its Community Development Agency, far rehabiZita[ian
<br />of a dwelling an premises owned. by Homeowner which are hereinaftez- de crbed„
<br />and for the granting by Citg ro Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of
<br />Sixteen Thouand and. no/100 Dollars ($L5,000.00)' to be applied. ;.n payment of the
<br />cost of such. rehabilitation, and
<br />`WHEREAS,. Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other things, agreed (a) to
<br />repay such amount or, as the case may be, a part thereof to City in` re r.tain
<br />circumstances described in the AGREEMENT,. and. (b) to execute and deliver to .City
<br />as instrument in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises;-to
<br />secure such repayment,
<br />NOW,_ THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with. City, eah
<br />Schlueter, a single person; does hereby grant to CITY OF GR9ND ISLAND, NEBRASKA,
<br />A Municipal. Coronation, its successors and assigns, a lien upon the following
<br />described real estate situated in Ea11 County; Nebraska:
<br />Lot Five (5), Biock One Hundred Twenty-Four (124).
<br />Union Pacific Railroad' Second Addition,
<br />an addtion:ta'the City, of Grand island, Nebraska,,
<br />according to the record plat thereof;
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its successors and
<br />assigns; of the amount of the grant hereinabove referred to or; as the case may
<br />b;z, a part thereof in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in-the
<br />HgUSING REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which. reference is made hezeinabove.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises fora period of two (2)
<br />years from this date, and shah also bind the successors, and assigns and, except
<br />as provided 'in such AGREEMENT, the personal rapresentatfves,"heirs,: deviseees,
<br />and legatees 'of Homeowner.
