<br />An Ordinance of the City of Wood River, Nebraska, to extend the boundaries and
<br />include within the corporate limits ot~ and to annex to the City of Wood River, Nebraska,
<br />certain territory and land contiguous to the corporate limits of the City located in the
<br />Northwest Quarter (NWl/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Ten (10) North, Range
<br />Eleven (11) West, ofthe 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska; to provide for service benefits
<br />thereto; to provide severability; and to confirm the zoning classification thereof.
<br />WHEREAS, the majority of the owners and inhabitants of certain tracts
<br />contiguous to the City have petitioned the City tu approve an accurate plat of certain
<br />tt:ITito~y to be unTlexed to the City of Wood Ki vcr, Nebr:l~K;1_ nurst!<int to Section 17.4JS

<br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Regional Planning Commission at a meeting held
<br />May 7, 2008.. conducted a public hearing regarding said request for approval of plat and
<br />annexation and after said public hearing recommended approval of the proposed plat and
<br />
<br />annexation.

<br />BElT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF WOOD RIVER, NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOws:
<br />.&ction 1. It is hereby found and determined by such City Council that:
<br />a. A tract ofIand in the Northwest Quarter (NW1I4) of Section Nineteen (19),
<br />Township Ten (10) North, Range Eleven (11) West of the 6th P.M., Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
<br />northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter (NW1/4); thence running southerly
<br />along the east line uf said Northwest Quartet (N W 1/4), on an Assumed
<br />Bearing of SOoo04' 57"E, a distance of Eight Hundred Fifty Six and Eighty
<br />Five Hundredths (856.85) feet; thence running N89013' 19"W, a distance of
<br />Thirty Three and Four Hundredths (33.04) feet, to a point on the westerly
<br />right of way line of Walnut Street and to the ACTllAL point of beginning;
<br />thence continuing N890 13' 19"W, a distance of Two Hundred Sixty Three and
<br />Seventy Hundredths (263.70) feet, to the southwest corner of said Lot Sixteen
<br />(6); thence running NOOOl 0' 13"W, along the west line of said Lot Sixteen
