<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

<br />That Howard E. Widdifield and Debora J. Widdifield, husband and wife,
<br />hereinafter referred to as Grantors, for One Dollar ($1,00) and other good and
<br />valuable consideration as more fully set forth below, do hereby grant, bargain,
<br />sell, convey and confirm unto the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development,
<br />his successors and assigns, hereinafter referred to as Grantee, the following de-
<br />scribed real property in Hall County, Nebraska, to-wit:
<br />
<br />The Southerly Twenty (20) feet of Lot One Hundred Twenty=four (124)
<br />and the North Thirty (30) reet or Lot One Hundred Twenty-five (125),
<br />of Hawthorne Place to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all
<br />tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and
<br />to his successors and assigns forever,
<br />
<br />And the Grantors do hereby covenant with Grantee and with Grantee's
<br />successors and assigns that Grantors are lawfully seised of said premises; that
<br />they are free from encumbrance except ea~ements, covenants and restrictions of
<br />record and except real estate taxes becornJ,,? (',e~inquent. ;;1 1984 and future years;
<br />that Grantors have good and iawful aut", ',LV to r:,nvey the same; and that Grantors
<br />warrant and will defend the Utie to Sdru premises against the lawful claims or all
<br />persons whomsoever,

<br />This deed is an absolute conveyance of title in effect as well as in form,
<br />and is not intended as a mortgage, trust conveyance or security of any kind. The
<br />consideration therefor is the full releaSe and discharge of all debts, notes" obliga-
<br />tions, costs and charges heretofore subsisting on account of and by the terms ota
<br />certain mortgage executed by Howard E. Widdifield and Debora J. Widdifield in the
<br />sum of $36,200.00 given to Superior Mortgage, Inc., and dated March 28, 1983,
<br />recorded March 28, 1983, in the office of the Register of Deeds fot' Hall County j
<br />Nebraska, as I nstrument No. 83-001465 and subsequently assigned to Banco Mort-
<br />gage Company now known as Norwest Mortgage, Inc., by assignment dated March
<br />29, 1983 and recorded April 7, 1983 in the office of the Register of Deeds for Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, as Instrument No. 83-001659, the acceptance of this deed being
<br />in full satisfaction of said indebtedness as aforesaid, and terminating said mortgage,
<br />
