84 - 005385 ORDINANCE NO. 7124 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1116, defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement Qf a street within the district by paving. guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1116 in the City of Grand Island. Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point along the South line of u.s. Highway No. 30, said point being where the northerly prolongation of the East line of Industrial Lane intersects the Soutp line of said Highway No. 30; thence proceeding westerly along tile ':.outh line of U..S.. Highway No. 30 for a distance of 800.69 feet, ~ "'.-"~ deflectin~ left in a southerly direct~on pc.::pcndi.c~llar- to thL' cr.. line of ,].,5. iiigh.way No. 30 for a diatance of 3&0 i~~~; thence ciei~ect1ng left in an easter~y direction 360 feet from and parallel to the South line of u.s. Highway No. 30 ~or a distance of 800.69 feet; thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along the East line of Ir.dustrial Lane and the prolongation thereof, for a distance of 360 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Frontage Road from Industrial Lane west 800.69 feet. Said improvements shall be made i~ accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4~ The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections~ shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publicatioJlt without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register or Deeds. Hali County, Nebraska.
