BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1, Street Improvement District No, 1104 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska. is hereby created. SECTION 2, The boundaries of the dlstrict shall be as follows, Beginning at a po~nt where the East ~ight-of-way line of Poplar Street intersects the northerly right-oE-w~-' line of Ninth Street; thence southeasterly perpefldicular tn I ..~it:therly ~i,..;lit-of-way line of- Ninth Street a di5~ance o~ 6S.0 faet the southerly right-at-way line or Ninth Street: thence southwesterly on the southerly right-of-way line of Ninth Street a d~stance of b8.4 feet; thence northwesterly a distance of 60.0 feet to the point where the northerly right-of-way line of Ninth Street intersects th~ West right-at-way line of Poplar. Street; thence southwesterly on the northerly right-ot-way line of Ninth Street a dis~ance of 142.5 feet; thence North parallel to and 125,0 feet West of the West right-of-way line of Poplar Street to the North rlght-of-way line of Twelfth Street; thence East on the North right-oi-way line of ~welfth Street a distance of 316.0 feet; thence South parallel to and 131.0 feet East of the East right-of-way line of Poplar Street to the North line of Pleasant Hill Addition, thence West a distance of 6,0 feet; thence South parallel to and 125.0 feet East of ~he East right-of-way line of Poplar Street to the northerly right-of~ way line of Ninth Street; thence southwesterly on the northerly right- of-way line of Ninth Street a distance of 142.5 feet to the point of beginning. all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit -AM attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The follOwing strest in the district shall be L~proYed by paving~ curbingk guttering. and all incidental work in connection therewith: Poplar Street from Ninth Street to Twelfth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Englneer for the City dnd approved by the Mayor and Council. SECT ION ~. The l<llprOvements shall be made at public cost. but the cost thereof, exclud~ng ~ntersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benef~ted thereby as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval. and publicat~on, without the plat. as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance. w~th the plat. is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County. Nebraska. SECTION 7.
