BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA. hereby created for the laying of a twelve inch and a six inch water main to serve SECTION 1. The boundaries of such water main dis\rict shall be as follows: Beginning at the Ncrtheas~ corner of Lot Four (4), Block Three (3), LeHeights Second Subdivision, thence westerly a distance of three hundred eighty-five (385_0) feet to the Northwest corner of Lot Five (5) of Block Three (3) of said subdivision: thence northerly a distance of two hundred fifty-two (252.0) feet to the NOrtheas~ corner of Lot Seventeen (17), 810ck Three (3), of said subdi\"~s.lo:1; thence 'Westerly along the northerly line of said LeHe~ghts Second Subdiv~s~on dnd ~ts prolongation a distance of n~ne hunared eIghteen and eigh~y-five hundredths (9IS.B5) feet to a po~nt on the West line of LeHe~ghts Subdivision; thence southerly a d~stance of one thousand seventy-one and four-tenths {1.071.4} feet to the Southwest corner of LeHeights Subdivision: thence easterly a d~stonce of one thousand three hundred seven and six-hund=edths (1.307.06) feet to the Southeast corner of LeHeights Second SubdIv~sion; thence nOI,"therly a distance of eight hundred twenty-four and six-tenths (824.6) feet to the Northe~st corner of LeHe~ght$ S~cQnd Subdivision. the point of beginnin9. dll ~s shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A* attached hereto and ~ncorpQrd~ed herein by reference. SECTION 3. Said unprovements shell be made ~n ~ccordance with plans and ~pecifications prepared by the Engineer for the City who shall est~~te the cost thereof, and submit the same to th~ City Council, and upon approval of the same, bids for the con$truct~on of such water ma~n shall be taken and contracts entered into in the manner provided by lAw4 SECTION -t. The cost of const.ructl.on of such improvements sha.ll be assessed against the property within such distr~ct abutt~ng upon the street wherein such water main has been so placed to the extent of benef~t5 to such property not to exceed the laying of d six-inch wate~ ma~n. by reason of such improvement. and a special tax shall be levied at one t~ to pay for such cost of construction as soon as can be ascertained; and such special tax and assessments shall constitute a s~nking fund for the payment of any warrants or bonds for the purpose of paying the cost of such wat~r mai~ ~n such district; and such specia~ assessments shall be paid and collected either in d fund to be des1gnated and known 4$ the Sewer and Water Extension Fund for Water Ma~n District No. 360, or the Water Surplus Fund.
